Councilor beaten to death on his birthday party in Gwalior, 1 arrested out of 5 friends who murdered him

Gwalior: A councilor was beaten to death with sticks in Murar area of the city. The councilor had come to attend the birthday party, during which there was a dispute with his friends and his friends beat him to death. The relatives of the deceased have accused five friends of murder, out of which one of the accused has been taken into custody by the police, he is being interrogated. On the other hand, the relatives of the deceased blocked the chakka, demanding that a bull dozer should be run at the house of the accused. Here, the local people, including Shailu's relatives, have started shouting slogans by putting a jam outside the Murar police station.
Murar police station in-charge Shailendra Kushwaha said that councilor Shailendra alias Shailu Kushwaha from the ward of Murar Cantonment area had gone last night to attend the birthday party. After drinking alcohol with five people including Bhura Tomar, Dharmendra Pal, Vicky Kaushal, Vineet Rajawat, who were involved in this party, there was a dispute, then the councilor started beating Shailendra alias Shailu. He was attacked with sticks and rods. They kept beating him until he bled and fell on the ground. Meanwhile, councilor Shailendra Kushwaha died. He was also taken to the hospital but here the doctors declared him brought dead. On Thursday morning, the relatives blocked the chakka in Murar area. Relatives say that the accused should be immediately arrested and a bulldozer should be run at their house. The police have started questioning Vicky Kaushal out of the five accused in custody.
