Over 2,000 Policemen Deployed for Holi-Dhulendi, Shab-e-Barat and Rangpanchami in Indore

Indore's Commissioner of Police, Harinarayanachari Mishra, has deployed over 2,000 policemen for the upcoming festivals of Holi-Dhulendi, Shab-e-Barat and Rangpanchami. The policemen have been equipped with helmets, body-worn cameras and city surveillance systems, and a Quick Response Team (QRT) has been formed to respond quickly to any hooliganism or ruckus. In addition, a squad of Municipal Corporation and MBEB will also be present with the police.
The commissioner has warned that those who create ruckus or break the law will be caught, and those who throw raj and dispute while sitting on three vehicles will face consequences. Videography of Shab-e-Barat and Rangpanchami will be done to ensure the safety of all participants.
In a separate order, the commissioner has instructed all police station in-charges to summon the goons and miscreants of their respective areas and conduct an identification parade, particularly for those involved in chain robbery, knife-wielding, and stubbornness. The commissioner has emphasized the importance of keeping an eye on those released from jail and filling their dossiers.
Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Maheshchand Jain has formed squads of traffic subedars and SIs in different parts of the city to investigate alcoholics using breath analyzers. The police have seized more than 150 vehicles in the last three days, and all violators will be dealt with strictly.
The police are urging all participants to celebrate the festival peacefully and to follow the rules and regulations to avoid any mishaps
