Govindpura Police Rescues Abducted 16-Year-Old Girl After Nine Months of Tireless Efforts

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) : In a major breakthrough, the Govindpura police station has successfully rescued a 16-year-old girl who had been abducted nine months ago. The minor girl had sent a suicide message to her parents after coming in contact with a married person living in Uttar Pradesh through the Star Maker app of social media.
After receiving the complaint, the Govindpura police station formed four separate teams to trace the location of the kidnapper. With the help of a woman officer from the Energy Women's Desk, a special police team was formed to bring the girl safely from Guwahati in the state of Assam.
The accused, Manish Tiwari, father of Gopal Tiwari, was arrested and brought to Bhopal after being taken into police custody. The abducted girl revealed in her statements that Manish had introduced himself through the Star Maker app and took her to Guwahati, Assam, with the promise of marriage.
Inspector Lokendra Singh Thakur, Uni Gajraj Singh, Uni. Vasudev Savita, Pr. 1582 Kuber Singh, Female Pr. 2330 Sonia Patel, and Constable Akash from the cybercrime cell played an important role in the rescue operation.
The state government is running several campaigns for the safety of women and girls, and the Govindpura police station's commendable initiative is a testament to their commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens
