Bhopal: CM takes note of bad conditions of road in the capital, directs to dissolve CPA with immediate effect

In Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, the anger of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has come out on the officers regarding the bad roads. Reprimanding the officers on Friday, he has directed to dissolve the CPA with immediate effect.
In fact, during the rains, most of the roads of Bhopal have become big potholes, due to which accidents are happening, while on the other hand, dust is also flying due to the uprooting of the roads after the rain stops, which is causing breathing problem in several people. The Chief Minister saud even he is having trouble breathing. In view of the poor conditions of road the Chief Minister immediately called a meeting of officers on Friday.
Bhopal Commissioner, Collector including Chief Secretary, Municipal Corporation and PWD officials were present in the meeting. When the Chief Minister raised questions on the condition of the roads, the officers were seen talking about different agencies. On this the Chief Minister was very angry and said that now so many agencies are not needed for the maintenance of roads. CM instructed Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bais present in the meeting that if nothing is happening with the CPA, then it should be dissolved with immediate effect.
What is CPA
In fact, after Bhopal was made the capital, a department named CPA (Capital Project Administration) i.e. Capital Project Administration was created to look after the roads and parks of Bhopal. At present, the maintenance of roads, parks as well as many important government buildings is with the CPA.
