24 yr old woman lawyer raped in Bhopal on the pretext of marriage, police yet to arrest the accused

Bhopal: A 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a friend on the pretext of marriage for around four months in Sukhi Sewania
locality.
Police said that the survivor, 24, hails from another district and here she resides in Sukhi Sewania. She is an advocate. In her complaint to police, the woman alleged that in 2021 she came in contact with accused
Harsh Swami who is not a native of Bhopal, through a social media platform.
Police said that the woman further alleged that the accused allegedly outraged her modesty on March 17 promising to marry her at her home in Sukhi Sewania. Since then, he repeatedly raped her but a few days back when she pressured him to keep his promise of marriage, he allegedly denied and blocked all contact with her. Left with no other options, the girl finally decided to approach Sukhi Sewania police station and lodged a complaint against him.
A rape case was registered under sections of IPC
and further investigations are underway. No arrest has been made yet.
