Massive Saffron Yatra to be Taken Out in Bhopal to Celebrate Hindu New Year

Bhopal: On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa and Chaitichand, more than 20 groups from all over Bhopal are set to participate in a huge saffron yatra under the banner of Jagrut Hindu Manch. Motorcyclists will take to the streets to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the under-construction Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya this year and welcome the arrival of the New Year with great pomp.
The preparations for the yatra have been underway for almost two months, with the stage set for the grand event. Dr. Durgesh Keswani, the forum guide, has organized several meetings to raise awareness among the people and encourage more devotees to join the yatra.
The yatra will begin from the DIG bungalow intersection and proceed through Kazi Camp, Sindhi Colony, Bhopal Talkies, Laxmi Talkies, and reach Bhavani Chowk, Curfew Wali Mata Ke Mandir. From there, the yatra will head towards Roshanpura intersection via Kamla Park, Polytechnic Square, and finally reach Khatlapura Ram temple via Malviya Nagar and MVM College. The event will conclude with a grand aarti and prasadi distribution.
This is the first major event being organized by Jagrut Hindu Manch, and Advocate Sunil Jain, the convener of the organization, has appealed to the entire Hindu society to participate in maximum numbers of yatras with the cheers of Lord Shri Ram. Other programs, including Mahaarti and blood donation camps, have been organized in temples across the country to celebrate the Hindu New Year
