Bhopal police solves '65-yr old's murder mystery', mother & daughter killed the elderly over money dispute

Bhopal: Police on Friday disclosed the murder of 65-year-old Dilip Kumar Mohadkar, a retired clerk from the electricity company in Piplani. The police arrested a 40-year-old woman and her 16-year-old daughter on charges of murder. The murder took place over a dispute between the clerk and the woman over two thousand rupees, the woman was asking for more money and he was stalling. After the murder, the accused mother and daughter stole the daughter-in-law's jewelery worth six lakhs and an amount of more than one and a half lakh rupees from the wardrobe of the house and ran away to Raisen Silvani after scattering all the things in the house. Police could reach the accused after interrogating 100 CCTVs and 37 people.
Dilip Kumar Mohadkar, a retired MPEB resident in Bhel Nagar Piplani, was beaten to death on Tuesday night. Later, on not receiving the daughter's call, neighbor NK Mule reached her and informed the police and relatives about the matter. Later, the investigation was started by registering a case of murder against the unknown accused.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Singh Bhadauria said that 37 people including witnesses and suspects were questioned in the murder case. Women were starting to visit more and more at Dilip Mohadkar's house. That's why after watching hundred CCTVs, two women were seen in front of the deceased's house in one CCTV, their faces were covered. They got suspicious and with the help of that footage reached the accused woman. She is a 40 year old woman living near Ayodhya Nagar St. Thomas School in Bhopal. Her husband drives an auto and she, along with their 16-year-old daughter, committed the murder. The woman says that he used to help her often, he used to give her money without asking. He was going to Bangalore on January 11, I told him to give more money, but he refused. Controversy started about this. Women do the work of cooking food in the wedding party. She had come in contact with Dilip Mohadkar while cooking food for his son's wedding, since then he was taking full care of her. She used to go to meet him whenever he called.
