Bhopal: After raids by the Income Tax Department on Friday morning at 28 places linked to the Bansal group, the investigation continued on Saturday for the second day. Documents accessed by the department have revealed that the group took Rs 35 crore in cash from buyers for booking properties in an under-construction commercial complex (Bansal One) near Rani Kamalapati station to conceal income.

According to the information, nine kg of jewelery and one crore rupees in cash have also been found in this raid. Apart from Bansal Hospital, doctors from outside were also given some money in cash. This has been confirmed by the receipt of cash in envelopes written in the names of doctors. It is also believed that instead of sending patients to Bansal Hospital for examination and treatment, cash was given to outside doctors.
