Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: On 20.07.2022, in collaboration with Ram Aastha Mission, the police headquarters of Madhya Pradesh launched a campaign to plant 15000 saplings in an area of 44,000 square feet in Bhopal through the Miyawaki Technique. Retired IAS Officer R. P. Singh and Tanmay Jain along with present ADG of MP police Anuradha Shankar took part in the plantation. It is noteworthy that guava, lemon, banyan, peepal, almond, gulmohar kadam, satyaparni, kalashisham, chiraul, etc. are the plants that were planted. Under this technique all the officers, employees of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy and DSP, sub-inspector and trainee constables trained in the academy planted different species of plants under Miyawaki Japanese technique, in which 03 species of plants were planted within an area of 3X3 feet.
Miyawaki Technique —
Miyawaki technique is a scientific technique of Japan, in which maximum number of plants are planted in a small area. Whose growth reaches up to 15-20 feet within three years. These forests reduce air pollution as well as reduce the temperature in their area by up to 2 degrees.
