Indore: Student accuses Vijay nagar TI and police of bribery & brutal violence inside TI’s cabin

Indore, Madhya Pradesh: The barbaric face of Indore Police has come to the fore when Vijay Nagar police locked a student for selling diesel in the cabin. Student alleges that he was beaten with a plastic pipe for several hours. Police personnel kept beating the student in front of the station in-charge. A demand of Rs 50,000 was made to the family of the student. Later, taking 30 thousand rupees, the police let the student and his family go. Here, Vijay Nagar TI Ravindra Gurjar says that the accused is lying completely. He is accused of selling diesel illegally. There was no such incident of beating here. Mohit's father Devalia (26) is a final year student of M.Com. To support the family, Mohit has started his own Mohit Travel Agency in Vijay Nagar area. On Saturday night, Mohit was to go out with the family, for which he had kept outside in diesel coaches. Then the beat jawans of Vijay Nagar police station entered Mohit's shop and started investigating. The jawans confiscated 25 liters of diesel from Mohit's shop. Beat constables Raju and Ajay both brought Mohit to the police station and started beating him up on the charge of selling diesel illegally. Mohit was beaten in the same cabin in front of Vijay Nagar police station TI Ravindra Gurjar. Gurjar has recently shifted from Gwalior to Indore. There is a discussion in the department that he is close to the Home Minister.
After the incident, police personnel called Mohit's father Vinod Devlia. Information was given about Mohit that he has been arrested while selling diesel. Vinod told that the police threatened him that he would entangle his son in drug trafficking. Mohit was in a bad condition in the police station. He was saying, Papa, get me out of here by any means. When Vinod saw the crying face of his son, he could not stand it. Immediately on Saturday night, 30 thousand rupees were withdrawn by Vinod from the ICICI Bank ATM and the cash amount was handed over to both the jawans. He said that this money has to be given to TI. As soon as they got the money, both of them dropped Mohit from the police station. Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra said that the matter would be investigated soon. If the allegations turn out to be true, action will be taken against the culprits.
