Recognition cancelled of 100 hospitals in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Recognition of 100 hospitals in Madhya Pradesh has been cancelled. These hospitals include hospitals in three big cities of the state, including the capital Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur, whose recognition has been cancelled. It is being told that there were no proper arrangements to deal with the fire in these hospitals. The health department alert is visible after the Jabalpur incident. Due to which this decision has been taken.
Of the 100 hospitals that have been canceled in Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur has the highest number of 33 hospitals. While 26 hospitals in the capital Bhopal and 19 in Gwalior are included. The registration of all these hospitals has been cancelled. Which is being considered as a big action of the health department.
After the Jabalpur arson incident, the investigation conducted by the Health Department has revealed huge negligence in the fire systems installed in the hospitals. There were no arrangements to deal with fire in these hospitals, so the registration of hospitals which did not have adequate fire handling arrangements was cancelled. The investigation was going on after the horrific fire at Hamidia and Jabalpur hospitals in MP. Since the incident of Jabalpur, questions were being raised on the fire safety system installed in the hospitals.
There were no adequate arrangements in 26 hospitals of Bhopal
In the investigation of the Health Department, there were no adequate arrangements to deal with the fire in 26 private hospitals of the capital Bhopal. After which the Health Department canceled the recognition of 26 hospitals in Bhopal. Where there was no fire fighting equipment in any hospital, the alarm was not working at some places. While there was no fire exit anywhere. Earlier, the Municipal Corporation of Bhopal had also held a review meeting of all the hospitals. Whereas 33 hospitals in Jabalpur and 19 hospitals in Gwalior also saw similar problems.
