Bhopal: The EOW is preparing to issue a look out circular against Hemant Soni, director of Aakriti Builder (AG-8 Ventures) of the capital Bhopal. An FIR has been registered against Soni for cheating the beneficiaries by taking money. There is a possibility of Soni fleeing abroad.
The Economic Offenses Investigation Bureau (EOW) has registered a cheating case against Hemant Soni in June 2022. Its investigation is going on at a brisk pace. Soni took 90 percent amount from hundreds of beneficiaries to build houses under the Aquacity project in Huzur tehsil. Deposited the amount in his AG-8 Ventures Company Limited. After this, instead of using the amount in the Aquacity project, the builder transferred the money to another company's project and used it. At the same time, after booking in 2013 in the 2010 Aquacity project, duplexes were to be met in 2017. But till now the construction there is incomplete and the work is stopped. Many people have put their entire deposits in this. Now he is feeling cheated. In this case, EOW has also registered a case against Hemant Soni along with two other directors Rajeev Soni and Shaunak Sudhir Ghodke.
According to EOW sources, Hemant Soni, director of AG-8 Ventures, is suspected to have fled abroad. For this, preparations are being made to issue a look out circular against him. There is talk of the arrival of Raza Nawab, who bought Aakriti Group (AG-8), in this investigation. Raza Nawab's place was raided by the Income Tax Department team a few days back.
Let us tell you that Look Out Circular (LOC) is also called Look Out Notice. LOC bans any person abroad. There is a ban on leaving his country. At the same time, immigration officers at the international border can stop such a person at the airport itself. Or take them into custody.
