Gwalior/Lucknow: The wife of a magistrate in Gwalior has accused her brother-in-law and his father-in-law of molesting. The woman alleges that she was molested on the third day after her husband's death. The next day after her husband's Tervi 'the thirteen day of the death' , she was thrown out of the house by her in-laws. Earlier, her brother-in-law hanged her 4-year-old daughter upside down from the balcony, she is also being forced to sign on blank papers. The accused brother-in-law has also snatched away 45 kgs of gold and silver jewellery, cash and other items, from the victim- she claims. On being evicted from the house, the woman reached her maternal home in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and complained about the matter. On the complaint, the police registered a case on zero and sent the case diary to Bahodapur (Gwalior) police station. After the case diary came, the Bahodapur police station has registered a case. The 32-year-old woman told the police, her marriage took place on February 10, 2012 in Gwalior. Her husband was a magistrate. After marriage, her husband was transferred to Jabalpur. Her husband died of a heart attack on 3 August 2020 during the Coronavirus period. She came to her in-laws' house at Bahodapur Vinay Nagar in Gwalior with her husband's body. Here he was cremated. When she came, she had brought 1 lakh 18 thousand rupees with her, which was taken by her brother-in-law and his wife. It was only three days after the death of her husband that when she was in the kitchen at 9.30 pm, her brother-in-law came inside intoxicated and molested her, when she protested, the accused beat her up. Somehow she saved herself and four days later, accused father-in-law came to her room and molested her too. The widow victim claims that she was beaten up for protesting.
