Final dress rehearsal concludes in Capital’s Motilala Nehru Stadium for 75th Independence day

Bhopal: 75th anniversary of Indian independence will be celebrated with great enthusiasm. In the state capital Bhopal, the main function of Independence Day will be organized in the main hospitality of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on 15th August at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade Ground. On Saturday, in the presence of Director General of Police, Sudhir Saxena, the full dress parade and final rehearsal of Independence Day celebrations took place at Motilal Nehru Stadium here. Director General of Police Saxena, Special Director General of Police SAF Milind Kanashkar, ACS General Administration Vinod Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Mal Singh Bhadiya, Commissioner of Police Makarand Deuskar and other officers took stock of the arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations. During the final exercise of the Full Dress Parade, the Chief Constable of 7th Battalion, Ramchandra Singh Kushwaha played the role of the Chief Guest and after the flag hoisting the National Anthem and salute by the parade, inspected the parade and read the message. After that the program ended with the immersion of the parade. The final exercise parade was led by Abhinay Vishwakarma, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Indian Police Service, Bhopal. The role of Assistant Parade Commander was performed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Chaudhary. A total of 14 contingents including a police band participated in the joint exercise parade. These include STF, Special Armed Forces (North Zone), Special Armed Forces (South Zone), District Police Force, Hawk Force, GRP, Women (Visbal and District Force), Jail Department, Nagar Sena (Home Guard), NCC . (Senior Wing), N.C.C. (Senior Division), Scouts Boys, Guide Girls and Police Band. During the exercise, the traffic, parking and all other arrangements of the stadium including the movement of guests and security arrangements in the stadium were carefully checked. Senior officers of the district administration and Bhopal police were present on the occasion including senior officers of the Police Headquarters.
