Four wheeler thief gang busted by Bhopal Crime Branch

Bhopal: Bhopal crime branch was actively investigating four wheeler thefts that were taking place in different police stations in the district. Technical analysis was done after obtaining respective data, on the basis of which the four accused were identified. The gang used to steal expensive four wheelers by breaking their locks. All the three accused nabbed by the police used to rake on a motorcycle and steal the vehicle. The stolen four wheelers then were sold to junkies of Dewas. The local crime branch of Bhopal have recovered 2 four wheelers and 3 cut vehicles. The total value of these vehicles is said to be around 5 lakhs. On interrogation of the said accused, they told that they told to sell a Maruti Zen car from police station Shahjahanabad area and two cars stolen from Kohefiza area to Nawab Shah, Mubarak Khan, Kallu Shah, residents of Dewas, who do junk work. After leaving for Dewas, the accused Nawab Shah, Mubarak Khan, and Kallu Shah met, on interrogation, accused Aftab Khan, Mo. Shahrukh Khan and Shoheb Ali told to buy 04 four wheelers of total theft, in which a Maruti Zen car police station Shahjnabad of offense no. 309/22 Section 379 The police were seized from the accused Ikram alias Nawab Shah due to the involvement of Bhadvi and all the three men, Nawab Shah, Mubarak Khan, and Kallu Shah, have been duly arrested for buying stolen vehicles from whose possession. Police Station Kohefiza's Up. No. 298/22 Windshield of stolen vehicle under section 379 Id., Up. No. Bumper of 223/22, crime number 329/22 of police station Shahjahanabad, section 379 has been found bumper with number plate of Bhadvi's vehicle. The interrogation of the accused is going on in other cases, there is every possibility of getting information about other stolen vehicles.
