Crime Branch Bhopal Busts Vehicle Thieves, Recovers Two Stolen Vehicles

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The Crime Branch team of Thana Crime Branch in Bhopal has busted a gang of vehicle thieves who were using fake keys to steal vehicles. The team, following guidelines from senior officers, was able to apprehend two suspects who were attempting to sell a stolen vehicle in the Bhopal area.
On April 5th, an informant tipped off police about two suspicious individuals attempting to sell a Hero Honda motorcycle with the license plate MP04NX7482 near Bhopal talkies. The police arrived at the scene and detained the suspects for questioning. Upon further investigation, the suspects were identified as Rahul Malviya and Sunbabbar Hussain, both residents of Makhani Village in Raisen district.
The accused revealed that they were stealing vehicles using fake keys and selling them at low prices to potential buyers. If they were unable to find buyers, they would take the stolen vehicles to a forest and burn them. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing vehicles from District Raisen, Vidisha, and Bhopal.
The police were able to recover two stolen vehicles, including the Hero Honda motorcycle that was being sold at the time of the arrest. The accused have been taken into police custody, and further investigation is being conducted to recover more stolen goods. The police have also noted the criminal records of both the accused and are taking necessary actions.
