Transfer of bureaucrats to be restricted from November to January in MP

Madhya Pradesh: For the assembly elections to be held next year in the state, the Election Commission will start the work of preparing the voter list from November. With its introduction, the transfer of collectors will be restricted. After the publication of the final voter list on January 5, 2023, the government will be able to make transfers. On the other hand, the General Administration Department has made preparations to transfer the officers of IAS, IPS, State Administrative and State Police Services from the ministry to the field level.
The Election Commission has started its preparations for the assembly elections. The preliminary publication of the voter list will take place on November 4. After this, applications for addition, deletion and modification of names will be taken. The final publication of the voter list will take place on January 5, 2023. During this period the work of revision of voter list should not be affected, so there will be no transfer of Collector and District Election Officer. This will be banned.
Along with this, other officers-employees including Registration Officer, Booth Level Officer will also not be transferred. On the other hand, the government has made preparations for a fresh administrative set-up from the ministry to the field level. Transfers are proposed from collector, commissioner, IG, superintendent of police to state administrative and police service officers. The General Administration and Home Department have made preliminary preparations. The list will be released after discussion with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bank and Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena.
