Jabalpur: Another big forgery of former Bishop PC Singh has come to the fore. Board of Education Church of North India Jabalpur Diocese was established without official permission. After getting the organization registered, PC Singh had taken possession of the land of all the missionary schools. This was disclosed by Bishop Bhim Rao Dumare of Nagpur Diocese in front of the EOW during interrogation.
EOW's DSP and investigation officer of the case, Swarnajit Dhami said that Bishop Bhim Rao Dumre of Nagpur Diocese was questioned on Thursday. He told that PC Singh, the fourth Bishop of Jabalpur Diocese, has fraudulently established the Board of Education Church of North India Jabalpur Diocese. Before 2004, these educational institutions came under Nagpur Diocese. Former Bishop PC Singh has got the institution registered fraudulently without taking official permission.
Nagpur Diocese had corresponded with PC Singh in this regard, but he did not give any reply and occupied the educational institutions. On the question of giving four powers of attorney to former Bishop PC Singh to run the educational institution, rent or sell his land, he said that it was taken forcefully. PC Singh called him to Delhi and took the power of attorney on the insistence of the goon.
There are more than one and a half dozen schools under the Board of Education Church of North India Jabalpur Diocese. The market value of the land of these schools is more than one thousand crore rupees. Which was illegally occupied by former Bishop PC Singh. Significantly, on September 8, the EOW team raided the office and house of Bishop PC Singh in Napier Town. During this, gold worth 80 lakh, Rs 1 crore 65 lakh in cash, 48 bank accounts, 18352 US dollars, 118 pounds, 9 luxury vehicles, documents of 17 properties were found. PC Singh was out of the country during the raid. EOW arrested him from Nagpur airport. Rs 6.5 crore were deposited in the bank in the name of PC Singh's family members. Apart from this, he had bought the valuable land located in Mission Compound in his own name at half the price. As a bishop, he sold the land and bought it himself as the buyer. There are 60 cases registered against him in different states across the country.
The EOW has named former Bishop PC Singh, his son Piyush and wife Nora Singh along with Suresh Jacob as accused in the case. PC Singh's special Suresh Jacob was with him throughout the forgery. Piyush was made the principal of the Kaiste Church School without the prescribed qualification. Apart from this, his school funds were misused. Husband Nora Singh is alleged to have unethically transferred about Rs 72 lakh to different accounts while being the manager of eight educational institutions run by the missionary. His daughter is also under the radar of the EOW, for which an amount of Rs 5 crore was spent for doing MBBS course from Hyderabad.
