Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announces additional leave and skill training for women employees on International Women's Day

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: On the occasion of International Women's Day, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement for the women employees of the state. The Chief Minister has announced to give additional seven days casual leave (CL) to government women employees, which they can use as per their requirement.
In his address, CM Chouhan acknowledged the contributions of women in every field and highlighted their responsibilities towards motherhood and taking care of the house. He stated that the upliftment of women is the main aim of his life and the empowerment of women power is the key to the development of the state and the country.
In addition to the extra leave, the CM also announced skill training for women. The training will include handloom, embroidery, and traditional folk arts, and will be provided to women handloom and handicraft artisans of the state through NID and NIFT institutes.
Furthermore, special training will be organized for girl students studying in technical education institutions of the state to provide employment opportunities. Job fairs will also be organized, and girl students will be given training in digital and financial literacy, English communication, and work readiness for 60 to 80 hours.
The announcement was made with the aim of empowering women and promoting their development in the state
