Sidhi (MP): 3 people taken hostage, tied to tree & beaten up in suspicion of goat theft

Sidhi: In Sidhi district of MP (madhya pradesh news), three people have been taken hostage and beaten up on suspicion of theft of cow and goat. The administration team swung into action after the video of the assault surfaced. The villagers beat up the trio by tying them to a tree on the banks of the Gopad river. He was being interrogated before the assault. Its video is going viral on social media. Police is identifying the accused on the basis of the video.
In fact, villagers tied some people to a peepal tree on the banks of river Gopad under Bahri police station of Sidhi district. By tying three people to the tree, people started beating. All three were accused of goat theft. The accused persons have also abused the three as well. During this, the people present there have made a video of the assault. The same people have also made a video of the beating.
The villagers allege that these people steal cows and goats from the forest and sell them. Today they have been caught red handed, after which they have been assaulted. There was a large crowd of villagers on the spot during the beating. The villagers kept beating them by taking them hostage in the Peepal tree but no one tried to save them. Local people have informed the police in this regard.
At the same time, no complaint has been registered in this matter in the police station. Police say that if anyone complains then action will be taken. It is noteworthy that the incidents of goat theft come to the fore in the rural areas of Sidhi. People leave the goat in the fields and go away, as soon as they get a chance, these people run away with the goods.
