In its first ever case, Gunga police of Bhopal registers FIR against owner of an open well after 2 months of investigation

Bhopal: An FIR has been lodged against the owner of a well in Gunga area under sections of negligence. The well of the accused was open and there was no cover around it. A young man had died after falling in it. About two months after the investigation, the police have tried to give a message by taking action in this matter, who leave the pit open after boring and children fall into it and lose their lives. This type of action has been taken for the first time in the capital.
According to Gunga station in-charge Ramesh Rai, 25-year-old Madan Lal, a resident of village Chandbad, was passing in front of the house of Bala Prasad of village Gunga two months ago, next to that road was the well of farmer Bala Prasad Lodhi. It was open and was not even kept closed. Madan Lal had fallen in it due to lack of security measures. He had died after falling in it. In this case, the police had started investigation in the matter after establishing a marg.
Madan Lal's relatives were upset after falling into the well. Relatives and friends were interrogated in search of him, but he could not be found. Later the police found his body two days later in the well of Bala Prasad. On this, the police started investigation by establishing a marg.
TI Ramesh Rai of Gunga police station said that people in rural areas bore water sources and leave them open after their water dries up. Many such cases have come to the fore in the state and the country. Many children have died in this. When the case of Madadlal falling into the well came in his police station, he lodged an FIR against the owner of that well and asked him to take boundary wall around the well and take measures for its safety. If this cannot be done, then the well should be closed.
