Acid attack on woman in Bhopal by husband, was currently living separately from violent husband

Bhopal . On the complaint of a woman, Ashoka Garden Police has registered a case of torture, assault and acid attack against her husband for dowry on Monday night. The incident is being told of Prabhat crossroads on August 2. The victim continued to undergo treatment for six days, last night she reached the police station and filed a case. Both had done an inter-religion marriage a year ago. At the same time, the police say that the accused has not been arrested yet. The CCTV footage of the incident will be scrutinized today. Ashoka Garden police station in-charge Alok Srivastava said that 33-year-old is originally a resident of Balaghat. She used to do private job after graduation. Currently living in Bhopal in search of job. On Facebook, she had become friends with accused Fatehpur Sikri resident Shiva Chaudhary. The two fell in love only on the Internet media. After this, the two met several times. Last year, both of them got married after running away from their respective homes without the consent of their families. After marriage, both stayed at places like Agra, Fatehpur etc. After some time disputes started between the two. The victim alleges that the husband used to harass her to bring cash from her maternal uncle's house for dowry. She was being assaulted. Tired of the day-to-day controversies, the complainant woman started living in Bhopal separately from her husband.
Here the husband came on August 2, persuading her to meet on the phone throughout the day. Late in the night the woman agreed to meet him, then the young man called her at Prabhat intersection. There, there was an argument between the two and the accused poured acid filled in the bottle on the victim. Due to this, many parts of the girl's body were burnt. One of her eyes is badly burnt. There are also burn marks on the back, one arm and neck. The girl told the police that due to fear, she kept on getting her treatment quietly. The accused is continuously threatening her over the phone. On Monday night, she finally gathered courage and reached the police station and filed a case.
