With effect from 11.01.2023, today a special campaign will be launched by the Jabalpur Police to ensure 100% compliance of all the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act and mandatory wearing of helmets, action will be taken against the violators
Jabalpur: With the instructions of Honorable High Court, M.P. And in compliance with the instructions issued by Police Headquarters, Madhya Pradesh Bhopal, from 11.01.2023, a special campaign will be launched by the Jabalpur Police for the compulsion of wearing helmets and 100 percent compliance of all the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act. Helmet awareness rally will be taken out from Malgodam Chowk under traffic awareness on 11.01.2023 at 01:00 pm, which will start from Malgodam Chowk to Bridge No. 01, Allahabad Bank Chowk to Delight Through Talkies, Mariam Chowk, Pantinaka, Sadar Bazar, Katanga Crossing, Bandariya Tiraha, Chhoti Line Phatak, Shastri Bridge Crossing, Teenpai Chowk, the police station traffic will end at Malviya Chowk.
Under the aforesaid special campaign, traffic rules will be propagated through traffic chariots at main crossings/intersections, students will be informed about traffic rules by going to schools and colleges, along with autos/vans operated in educational institutions. Bus drivers will be informed about the guidelines issued by the Honorable Supreme Court, auto/bus/truck drivers will be subjected to medical test/eye test, tractor/trolley and dumper trucks will be fitted with retro-reflective tapes on highways, in government/non-government offices and Common people will be administered oath regarding road safety.
Under the above special campaign, maximum action will be taken against the drivers who do not follow the traffic rules, such as without helmets and without seatbelts and driving vehicles after drinking alcohol, driving wrong side vehicles, overloading.
