Ban on transfer of 64,000 employees, including collector-commissioner in MP to be removed from Thursday

Madhya Pradesh: The ban on transfer of 64,000 employees, including collector-commissioner, in the state will be removed from Thursday. Due to the special revision work of voter list, there was a ban on transfers of officers and employees associated with this work. After the final publication of the voter list on Thursday, the government will not have to take the permission of the Election Commission for the transfer.
Assembly elections in the state are proposed in November. The Election Commission of India has done the work of addition, deletion and modification of names in the voter list by conducting special revision work for one month. For this, booth label agents (teachers, patwaris) were appointed at 64 thousand 100 polling stations.
Collector and District Election Officer, Commissioner were given the responsibility of supervision and Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue and Tehsildar were made Registration Officer. The General Administration Department was told not to transfer all of them till the work of voter list is completed.
Only Niwari Collector Tarun Bhatnagar was removed during this period. For this, after the announcement of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the department prepared a proposal and sent it to the Election Commission of India through Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan. After getting permission, transfer orders were issued and new postings were made. The officials of the Election Officer's office say that after the final publication of the voter list, the government can transfer the officers and employees engaged in the election work if they want. For this permission will not have to be taken from the commission.
