Land Dispute Turns Deadly in Madhya Pradesh's Morena, Six Members of a Family Shot Dead

Morena: In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district, six members of a family, including three women, were shot dead after a land dispute turned violent. The incident occurred in Lepa village, which is located around 50 to 60 km from the district headquarters.
According to reports, the families of Dheer Singh Tomar and Gajendra Singh Tomar had a dispute over throwing rubbish back in 2013, which led to the killing of two people from Dheer Singh Tomar's family. As a result, Gajendra Singh Tomar's family fled the village.
The two families had reconciled outside of court, and Gajendra Singh Tomar's family had returned to the village earlier today. However, things took a violent turn when Dheer Singh Tomar's family allegedly launched a pre-meditated attack on them with sticks and firearms.
Shocking video footage of the incident showed several men carrying rifles and shooting at an unarmed group of people after they were beaten with wooden sticks. Two other men have been hospitalized with severe injuries.
The police have registered a case against the accused and are currently conducting an investigation. The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the state, and the local authorities have appealed to people to maintain peace and harmony
