Bhopal. The Bharatiya Janata Party government of Madhya Pradesh is going to take strict steps against Hookah Bar (Lounge). Now all hookah bars will be closed in Madhya Pradesh. For this, the government has prepared a bill for the first time. The government has considered running a hookah bar as a crime. The bill in this regard will come up in the cabinet meeting to be held on December 13. After the approval of the cabinet, the bill will be sent to the Union Home Ministry. After getting the approval of the President, the bill will be implemented in MP. In the bill, the operation of hookah bar has been considered as a cognizable offence. On receiving a complaint, the police will not only arrest without any warrant but will also take immediate action. The authority to take action will be with the sub-inspector of police or above officers. Madhya Pradesh is the fifth state in the country after Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, where the provision of closure of hookah bars will be implemented.
