Proceedings of crime branch and police station Gohalpur police along with 2 bookies arrested while playing cricket betting, 1 search, cash 1 thousand 50 rupees, 7 mobiles, laptops, Axis without number confiscated 

During the ongoing Asia Cup cricket match by Superintendent of Police Jabalpur Siddhartha Bahuguna (I.P.) all gazetted officers and all station in-charges have been ordered to arrest the bookies. 

Jabalpur: SHO Gohalpur Vijay Tiwari said that on the night of 6-9-22, information was received from a reliable informer of the Crime Branch that a young man named Vishal Vaswani in Nandan Vihar Kalani was in his house in the Asia Cup T20 between India and Sri Lanka. Cricket betting is being played by claiming defeat on runs in the match. And the sound of betting on the match came, opening the gate of the room, saw 2 youths sitting in the room watching the live match of Asia Cup T20 tournament between India and Sri Lanka on mobile phones, betting on the runs of the match from customers on 1 laptop. Were maintaining, both the youths were asked the name and address, then both of them told their names Vishal Vaswani age 22 years resident of Galgala Belbagh behind City Church, and Prem Advani age 22 years resident of Green City Marhotal in front of Samdiya School, on interrogation both of them told Betting on the runs of the ongoing match sitting inside the house Walker admitted to betting by earning illegal profits, the accused were in possession of one HP company's laptop with charger adapter, 1 Lava company's android mobile, 1 Samsung company's android mobile, 1 realme company's android mobile, 2 Lava company's keypad Mobile, mobile charger in which adapter is installed, 2 charging only, one extension board, one axis without number, while confiscating cash 1 thousand 50 rupees, both of them were interrogated intensively, then both of them made cricket match betting Vishal Jain resident of Green City Madhotal. Addressing Kavya Gift Shop near Mumtaz Building to operate betting at the bets of Galgala, tell Vishal Jain to give 5 thousand rupees for betting in each match, as well as to be given by Vishal Jain for betting on the said laptop and mobile. Vishal Jain was searched which was not found. The search is on for the accused Vishal Jain by registering the offense of Section 3/4 Gambling Act and 109 Bhadvi against the accused.
