State Government Shuffles 12 IPS Officers: Makrand Deoskar Appointed as Commissioner of Police in Indore

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: In a recent move, the state government has issued transfer orders for Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. As a result, Makrand Deoskar has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police in Indore, while Harinarayan Chari Mishra has been made the Commissioner of Police in Bhopal.
Interestingly, both Deoskar and Mishra were previously holding the opposite positions, with Deoskar serving as the Commissioner of Police in Bhopal and Mishra in Indore.
Several other officers have also been shuffled to different roles within the police force. Yogesh Mudgal has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police for Technical Services at the Police Headquarters, while G Akhetto Sema has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police for Prisons.
Anil Kumar has been made Additional Director General of Police for SISF Bhopal, Vivek Sharma has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police for Planning at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal, and Deepika Suri has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police for Administration at the Police Headquarters.
Pramod Verma has been appointed as Inspector General of Police for Sagar Zone, Abhay Singh has been appointed as Inspector General of Police for Bhopal Rural Zone, Anurag has been appointed as Inspector General of Police for Gupt Varta, Irshad Wali has been appointed as Inspector General of Police for Hoshangabad Zone, and Sushant Kumar Saxena has been appointed as Inspector General of Police for Chambal Zone.
The state government hopes that these changes will lead to more effective and efficient policing throughout the state.
