"I request the Opposition (BJP) politics by taking up the issue of construction of Kanjurmarg Carshed. Because we (Shiv Sena) were together before and maybe in future all of us will again (BJP) come together. Therefore, if all of us (ruling and opposition) complete the metro project, then a huge work will be completed in the public interest."
CM Thackeray gave this important statement in a funny tone while responding to the discussion in the assembly on Wednesday on the Governor's address to the Legislative Assembly.
After this statement, he himself could not stop laughing and the BJP MLAs sitting in the opposition thumped the table and showed positive attitude, but among the Congress MLAs in the Mahavikas Aghadi government, there is a concern since Thackeray's statement. Budget session has started, so any Congress minister on record is currently cutting off Kani from saying anything.
Thackeray's trick to surround Fadnavis
When Chief Minister Thackeray stood up to answer the Governor's address in the Assembly, a very political move was done. He praised former finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar several times in his speech, but tried to catch the tirade of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in a straightforward Thackeray style on the issue of metro carshed in Kanjurmarg. He attacked Fadnavis, who took a strong stand on the construction of carshed in Kanjurmarg.
