A case of murder of a scientist working at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has come to light. The deceased has been identified as S Suresh. He was posted in ISRO’s National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) wing. According to the information received, the body was found in his own house in Hyderabad on Tuesday (October 1) under suspicious circumstances.
‘Heavy baggage attack’: Police said that his body has been sent for postmortem. Initial investigation has revealed that 56-year-old Suresh was attacked in the head with some heavy goods, due to which he was crushed and died. At present, the police is searching CCTV footage of the entire area to solve the mystery of the murder. Suresh lived in an apartment in Ameerpet area of Hyderabad.
Wife in Chennai, daughter in Delhi and son in US: Suresh, originally from Kerala, had been living in Hyderabad for nearly 20 years. His wife was informed on Tuesday when Suresh’s colleagues failed to contact him. His wife, who lives in Chennai, left for Hyderabad with family. Meanwhile, the police was also informed. When the police reached the spot, it was found that his body was lying in the flat. Suresh’s daughter works in New Delhi, while his son lives in the US.
