A 4-year-old girl was raped in a creche in Thane, Maharashtra. Police said on Wednesday (2 October) that the security guard at the ATM carried out the incident. He has been arrested. Police is investigating the case. According to the police, the accused crashed in and took the girl on the pretext of explaining something. It is alleged that after this he took the girl to an isolated place and carried out the crime.
The incident took place on Sunday: A police spokesperson said that the accused has been identified as Dashrath Kamble (42). He has been arrested. He said that the incident took place on Sunday (September 29).
Accused escaped from the incident: According to the police spokesperson, Kamble, who was working as a security guard at a nearby ATM, came to the spot and took the child with him, asking her to teach something. Police officer said that he took the girl to a secluded place on the campus and raped her. After committing the crime, the accused escaped from the spot. The mother noticed a change in her behavior after the girl returned home. Upon questioning, the girl informed her mother about the incident. The girl’s mother complained to the police. According to the police, on Monday (October 1), the accused was arrested. A case has been registered against him under Section 376 (rape) of IPC and related sections of Posco Act.
